505 Games Games 71501230 Editorial Review
Ghostrunner for the Nintendo Switch offers a beautiful cyberpunk-style game with great music and intense parkour gameplay. However, it is important to note that the game is unforgiving and requires fast reflexes and precision. The checkpoints can be generous, but they disappear if you restart the game, leading to frustration and repetition. The game has potential and is visually stunning, but it may be too short for some players, with an estimated playtime of 6-8 hours. The challenging nature of the game, combined with the lack of save points, may deter weaker players or those with hand or shoulder issues. The game could benefit from a separate tutorial mode for learning and practicing maneuvers and the ability to suspend play for restarts. Overall, Ghostrunner is a cool game with frustrating elements. It showcases the talents of the developer but has some design choices that may not appeal to everyone.
