Burzum Format: Audio CD Rock Editorial Review
Filosofem is a black metal album that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some praise the album for its minimal production and unique style, others express a strong dislike towards artist Varg Vikernes due to his infamous crime. The album is described as a masterpiece by some, with one customer stating that it is necessary in any music collection. The vocals are also highly appreciated, being described as amazing and memorable. The vinyl pressing by Back On Black is also seen as a positive, with customers mentioning that it sounds great and arrived quickly. Overall, Filosofem is a divisive album that will appeal to fans of black metal, particularly those who appreciate Varg Vikernes' style. However, the album's association with Vikernes' criminal actions may deter some listeners.
