However, it's sturdy and accurate in normal lighting levels up to 40,000 fc with + or - 3%. It's handy for measuring light intensity from grow lights, and it's easy to use and determine the type of lights needed/brightness in a new office. The product can help one determine compliance with local lighting ordinance. It requires pressing and holding the Power button for at least two seconds to activate it. The meter's display screen might be difficult to read under bright light conditions.
