Fitbit Activity & Fitness Trackers FB301B Editorial Review
The Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker has garnered a mix of admiration and criticism from users since its release. Overall, customers appreciate the simplicity and functionality of the device, particularly its easy-to-read display and the convenience of not having to charge it frequently due to its replaceable battery. For those who prefer a standalone tracking device rather than a smartphone app, the Fitbit Zip offers immediate results at a glance, showing steps taken, distance, calories burned, and even the time. Users have voiced their satisfaction with the motivational aspect of the device, noting that it serves as a Constant reminder to stay active and can reveal surprising insights about their daily calorie expenditure. The weekly email summary enhances the product’s usability by summarizing activity data, allowing users to reflect on their progress easily. The clip design is also highlighted as a positive feature, with the silicone material ensuring it stays securely in place while on the move. However, the product is not without its issues. One common complaint revolves around battery life—many users have reported having to replace batteries far more often than expected, which can turn this seemingly low-maintenance device into a recurring expense. Problems with syncing across different devices and the lack of customer support have led some users to express frustration with Fitbit's responsiveness to battery and technical issues. In summary, the Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker is particularly suited for individuals seeking a straightforward, easy-to-use device for tracking daily activities. It shines in its design and usability but could benefit from improved battery efficiency and customer support. **
