Märklin Train Sets Editorial Review
The Märklin Christmas Starter Set is a Z scale train set that includes US plugs and components for the US market. The set makes an oval of 21" x 16" with the parts included. The train will run on Rokuhan track, but the Marklin and Rokuhan tracks are not compatible. The set is extendable with add-on tracks. The set is miniaturised and ideal for small spaces. Reviews are mixed, although most appreciate the miniaturisation of the set and its quiet power unit. Some reviewers had difficulty putting the track together and experienced issues with the train engine. Some were disappointed with the condition of the box upon arrival and incomplete parts.
