It has three settings: sensitivity, duration, and day/night option. The sensor is waterproof with silicone O-ring seals and threaded mounting nipples. However, some reviewers have reported a hit-and-miss experience with the product. The wiring directions were not included in the box, and the product only comes with a simple schematic and no real data sheet. The sensor does not fit into a standard electrical box 1/2" knockout, so one has to drill a hole instead. The PIR lens was poorly assembled, leading to potential water infiltration, but this can be remedied with a small amount of thick gel liquid electrical tape and silicone caulk. The sensor works best on its most sensitive setting, picking up someone just turning their head at approximately 35 feet.
