Alienware Graphics Cards Editorial Review
Alienware Graphics Amplifier (9R7XN), Stealth black is a uniquely designed device that boosts the gaming performance of compatible Alienware laptops by allowing the installation of powerful desktop GPUs, specifically supporting up to 400W power supplies. Users appreciate that the custom cable connects directly to the PCI BUS rather than going through a USB-C controller, avoiding delays. Many reviewers noted that although support for certain models is limited due to the proprietary cable requirements, it greatly enhances the gaming experience when properly configured. It also allows for the mixing of GPUs, making it adaptable to various setups. However, patience is advised when connecting the cables, as they require a specific method of disconnection, which can feel daunting at first. Users have reported general satisfaction with the performance enhancements, especially when moving from internal graphics to an external GPU.
