Drama Editorial Review
Eugenie de Sade is a compelling drama directed by Jesus Franco, showcasing notable performances from Soledad Miranda and Paul Muller. With a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes, this film is presented in an anamorphic format and subtitled in English and French, making it accessible for a wider audience. While many viewers found the picture quality significantly improved compared to previous releases, some expressed disappointment regarding the extra content, particularly the Jess Franco interview that lacked depth. Despite its shortcomings, fans of Franco's work appreciated the film's artistic choices and intriguing narrative, highlighting its place in cult cinema.
