The Spirograph set seems to be enjoyable for kids, but the plastic could be more durable. The provided paper and markers don't last long, so extra supplies may be necessary. One parent found that the toy lost its appeal quickly and ended up in the junk drawer after a month. Another customer bought the set for making designs and was disappointed that it wasn't the same as the one they had as a child over 50 years ago. However, a tip was provided on using Clear Soft Close Drawer Cabinet Door Bumpers instead of the putty that comes with the set to improve performance. Overall, the Spirograph set was a hit with one grandchild, but another customer found it to be cheaply made and difficult to use.
