Sunlite Cassettes & Freewheels Editorial Review
The SUNLITE Single Freewheel is a great option for those looking to convert their bike to a single speed. It can replace a 7 speed freewheel, but keep in mind that the chain line needs to be adjusted accordingly. The freewheel has threads and is easy to install, however, a punch, mallet, or pin wrench may be necessary for removal. It's also recommended to use anti-seize compound on the threads to make removal easier. Some customers have used this freewheel on motorized bikes with success, but others have reported it falling apart after a short period of time. One reviewer advises to be careful when putting the chain back on if it falls off, as this can bend the sprocket and cause the bearings to fall out. Overall, the SUNLITE Single Freewheel is a good option for those looking to convert to a single speed, but make sure to take care when installing and removing it.
