Horror Editorial Review
"Dario Argento's 'Dark Glasses' offers a familiar blend of Giallo elements, however, falls short of recapturing the frisson and danger characteristic of his classic works. While die-hard fans may appreciate the film for sticking close to Argento's old formula, casual viewers, especially those familiar with his earlier masterpieces, might find it lacking in suspense and execution. The DVD version may have limitations, such as non-anamorphic display, but the Blu-ray release offers a more satisfying viewing experience. Despite its flaws, 'Dark Glasses' showcases some neat sequences and a captivating performance by Ilenia Pastorelli under Argento's direction, reminding audiences of his prowess in the horror genre."
