Fabtech Shock Absorbers FTS7266 Editorial Review
The Fabtech FTS7266 Performance Shock Absorber has elicited a mixed response from customers, with reviews reflecting a range of experiences. Many users report a significant improvement in their vehicle's ride quality, particularly for models such as the 2007 F150 equipped with a 6-inch lift. Installations are often praised for their simplicity, frequently taking less than 10 minutes to complete—an appealing feature for those seeking to upgrade their suspension with minimal hassle. However, the product has also drawn Considerable criticism. Some customers noted that the shock absorbers provided insufficient compression, leading to overly bouncy rides over uneven terrain. This lack of effective absorption was particularly highlighted by users who found their vehicle's bed cover lifting excessively over bumps, indicating possible deficiencies in the product’s design or performance. Quality control seems to be a recurring issue, as multiple reviewers have complained about the paint finish on the shocks, describing it as subpar, with overspray and chips present upon delivery. A few users even reported receiving damaged products, including one shock with a visible hole, tarnishing the product's overall perception. While the Fabtech shock absorbers perform well for some, the inConsistencies in quality and performance have caused frustration among several customers. Ultimately, potential buyers are advised to weigh the benefits of improved ride quality against the possibility of receiving defective items. **
