BLUE LAKE Performance Gamepads & Standard Controllers 940-000117 Editorial Review
The BLUE LAKE Performance Wireless Controller Gamepad offers a budget-friendly solution for gamers who want the feel of a classic PS2 controller combined with the convenience of wireless functionality. With a reasonable price point for a two-pack, users have found that these controllers closely mimic the layout and ergonomics of the original Dual Shock 2 controllers, making them a nostalgic choice for long-time PlayStation fans. Many reviewers appreciated the immediate connectivity upon pairing with both the PS2 and PC, noting that they experienced no lag during gameplay, with comfortable operation in various titles such as Tekken 4 and Dark Cloud 2. The controllers are versatile, with capabilities extending to PC and Android devices, although some users reported compatibility issues with certain Android systems, such as specific models of Smart TVs, leading to system lockups during attempts to connect. While the build quality is acknowledged to be lightweight and somewhat inexpensive-feeling due to the hard plastic material, users often felt the trade-offs were acceptable given the low price. The controllers have shown durability in regular use, with no significant performance issues related to input delays or control accuracy, such as stick drift. However, caution is advised for users looking to utilize these controllers with specific devices, particularly Android TVs, which was a notable source of frustration for one reviewer. Overall, the BLUE LAKE Performance Wireless Controllers provide an effective and economical gaming solution, particularly for nostalgic gamers seeking budget options without sacrificing too much on performance. **
