eXtremeRate Editorial Review
The eXtremeRate shoulder buttons upgrade for the DualSense controller has received a largely positive reception from customers, praised for its quality, performance, and instruction clarity. Users have highlighted the improvement in functionality, particularly for first-person shooters (FPS), where quick reflexes are crucial. The new trigger switches offer a soft click that requires less pressure while still providing a satisfying tactile response, enhancing gameplay experience. Despite the positive aspects, some reviewers have mentioned that the installation process can present a challenge, particularly for those not accustomed to detailed handiwork. While the assembly instructions include a thorough walkthrough and supported by tutorial videos, the complexity of opening the DualSense controller, especially around the LR buttons, might deter individuals with less technical proficiency. Nevertheless, many noted that after repeated attempts, the installation becomes more manageable. Overall, customers highly recommend the product for its performance benefits in gaming paired with a quality Construction, appealing to gamers looking to enhance their setups. **
