Optima Strings 221806 Editorial Review
Optima Gold Strings 2028 Regular Light 010/046 are a standout choice for electric guitarists, featuring a premium design with 24ct gold plating that resists tarnishing and oxidation. However, some users have reported that while the strings shine brilliantly at first, they tend to lose their bright tone relatively quickly, with complaints about rust forming after a few weeks of use. Despite this, many players appreciate the superior sound quality these strings provide at the beginning, making them ideal for performances. Their attractive gold finish makes them visually appealing, although durability seems to be a concern compared to other brands.
